The Gran Casale delle Gravine was born from the renovation of a last century farmhouse at that time devoted to agricultural activities.
The house stands out on a promontory appearing impressive and welcoming to visitors.
Preserving the harmony between the original structure of the house and the surrounding environment has been the central idea of the whole of the restoration work.
The simple architecture and the impressive facades in their original tuff have been preserved from the ancient structure.
The beautiful, fortified courtyard opens onto the typical farmhouse structure with access to the halls and the upper floors.
Our Casale stands on a huge area rich in soft karst emergencies, natural ravines, rural complexes and rupestrian churches in the so-called Parco dell’Alta Murgia Materana.
The Casale is nestled amid the fertile hills cultivated with wheat, that change colour together with the seasons, and the rugged promontory of the High Murgia that slopes towards the coast of Taranto and Metaponto.
Attached to the Casale are a beautiful garden of Mediterranean scrub and a large parking available to guests
